For Physiology class right now, we were looking at the foot and it's shown that a lot of runners who go barefoot have MUCH LESS damage to the foot than some with the most high tech shoes. Something about the way they land on the foot, and how careful they are.

At the barefoot workshop I went to there were several people who had trouble running in shoes due to injuries but they went away once they started running barefoot. Pretty neat.
I have to admit I didn’t go barefoot today, but I did wear my Vibrams.
