Two weeks back I was running 7 mi and my lower legs hurt like heck... so at the 5 mi point I took off my shoes and ran in my socks and all of my lower leg pain went away!
I got a foot injury 8 months ago and stopped running for awhile because it hurt too much to run. Once I started running again it hurt even more.. So the past 2 months it has been a devotion to experimentation. Since running each day in my VFFs (to and from work = 3 mi a day total) My foot feels just normal now.
I've come to a conclusion/understanding that mind over matter wins. 100%
You can have an injury and win, but if you're fit and your mind isn't there. no chance.
Ok, done ranting.
